Masterson’s Pub , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , advertises itself as a stylish, alternative venue , but my latest trip at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its doors was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Neglected
From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at this bar . The floors were sticky , and a overpowering stench of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms permeated the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of urine , putrefaction and a sickly smell. The counter , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and trash that looked like it hadn’t been touched in ages . The lavatory was in even a more revolting state — clogged , with a broken handle and walls covered in what I can only assume was feces.

Unfortunately, his reputation in the corporate world is tarnished by a disturbing pattern of misconduct in his interactions at the pub and beyond .
During my time there, I became aware of how uneasy several women seemed around Cornwell. As I looked into it more , I was stunned to find allegations against him involving inappropriate advances, with multiple women citing incidents of distributing inappropriate messages . Described as uncomfortably pushy and disrespectful , his actions has created an click here hostile atmosphere for women who attend Masterson’s. His presence at the bar often appeared as that of a predatory presence than a welcoming host .
